And now for something completely different: Afterlife

The last few weeks have seen me painting about as many miniatures as during the rest of the year combined. However, there's been very little focus to my painting, which has included 10mm Thirty Years' War, 15mm Napoleonics, 15mm WW2, 28mm WW2 and 28mm vikings.

To add to the mix, I was inspired to paint some of the awesome Afterlife -miniatures from Anvil Industries. I decided to go with a "quick and dirty" approach, using mostly a very limited palette and a quick paint job. I am quite pleased with the end result.

I intend to add transfers to the miniatures' shoulder pads. I don't know when or where I'll be using these miniatures. I look forward to the upcoming Afterlife -rules and there's a chance I might use these guys in games of Warhammer 40K.

  1. Really nice figures! Those would pass fine as IG or stormtroopers, or what ever they are now called WH40K. Good colour theme too.

  2. They can be Scions or even Cadian Kasrkins, I guess. But there is little problem - their rifles are looking like bolters of Space Marines, not Kasrkins' hellguns so I dunno. Anyway, nice idea, man.
